From the wisdom we have gained through building businesses ourselves, we coach our clients to build the life they want to live, the smartest way possible. Everything we do for you is about working smarter, not harder. We are not a big corporate - we are a boutique, specialist professional services firm, and we are proud of it!

We offer streamlined financial compliance with Xero-based chartered accountancy, as well as consultancy for every kind of financial challenge – from cash forecasting and due diligence to tax-efficient business structuring and establishing trusts. But the service that really sets us apart is business development.

MARK GREER. CEO

The brain behind Bizdom is Mark Greer, one of New Zealand’s most awarded chartered accountants. He has six industry accolades to his name, won on the strength of his entrepreneurial thinking and ability to get the best out of businesses and the people who own them.

Mark’s career was founded on an honours degree in accounting and commercial banking. His CV includes a proven track record of building and rolling out businesses nationwide through strategic thinking and focused execution. Before starting Bizdom, he established, scaled nationwide and sold a chartered accounting practice called Enable Business.

From a rural Hawkes Bay family background, Mark is certainly not your typical chartered accountant. Not only is he a self-made man, he’s a thought leader who has helped many other business owners to achieve their financial and life goals.

ESTHER GREER. FINANCE MANAGER

After completing her Bachelor of Commerce in Christchurch, Esther moved to Wellington to start her career. With a strong background in the banking industry, fund management and finance, Esther brings with her extensive experience implementing governance projects and maintaining competitive products. Not to mention, a savvy for analysis and reporting.

Outside of work, Esther enjoys photography and plays the drums.

LESLEY PATCHELL. OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Helping business owners to become what they always wanted to be is Lesley’s reason for being. Her career includes nearly 20 years in public practice chartered accountancy firms, so there’s no commercial situation that’s beyond her experience. Lesley has a close eye for detail and is an experienced business coach who understands how to get the best out of people using empathy and proven coaching techniques. These skills, coupled with a technical tax and accounting background, make her a valuable asset for Bizdom’s clients.

VICTORIA CORNELIUS. Efficiency Lead

Victoria or Vik as we call her, is Mark’s Virtual right hand lady, she helps keep Mark to task. She is also our Efficiency leader.
Vik is tasked with leading the administration and Marketing team and is constantly exploring and striving for ways to improve systems and processes here at Bizdom.

With over 10 years experience with businesses in the CA industry, Vik knows how to manage Mark and fill the gaps in his professional life. Vik and Mark work closely as a team to ensure the best possible results for clients. The work of a great Executive Assistant is self-appointed and requires a high degree of professional independence, initiative and self-discipline and our Vik has it all along with a sprinkle of admin OCD. She is an organisation queen.

As Vik is virtual, away from Bizdom she spends her time darting between her two home towns, Mount Maunganui and the Coromandel and is often here there and everywhere taking care of her Virtual Assistant Business.

NICKY COULL. Senior Associate

Nicky has over 25 years experience in public practice in NZ and the UK, with a passion to help people move on in their business life and maintains a down to earth simple outlook.  She enjoys fostering a relaxed and rewarding team environment and delivering a professional product.  Having previously run her own practice she understands the business challenges of keeping all the balls in the air.
Out of business hours she enjoys Wellington by cycling or mountain biking with friends.  Having grown up in a family of rally drivers she enjoys taking a vehicle out for a spin just for the fun of it.
I am not just an accountant I am a mentor, friend, advisor, economist and computer nerd. I simplify accountancy and demystify financial data. NICKY COULL.

KATELYN TRUEMAN. Client Manager

Katelyn is one of our managers based in Wellington.  She has been working with Mark for 3 years and is a huge advocate of business development.  She has a loyal fan base of clients who she has been looking after for some time now.  Being tech savvy, Katelyn has become our ‘go to’ person for cloud software bugs.  Katelyn and her fiancé also have a cloud integration business which Katelyn is heavily involved in.  Outside of work she is busy lady, currently building a home in Otaki where she will soon move to.
She is an organisation queen, loves baking treats and enjoys playing netball & riding dirt bikes. What a combination!

BRITTANY NEAL. Administration Assistant

Brittany is studying towards Bachelors degrees in Human Resources, Management and Māori Studies at Victoria University of Wellington.
She enjoys learning and discussing how business adapts to changing circumstances. Brittany takes pleasure in analysing and improving systems to improve workflow. In her free time, Brittany is a real foodie, and enjoys exploring everything Wellington has to offer with her friends and family.
